Interim Senior Assistant Accountant - Redruth - £27-33,000 FTE + generous contract completion bonus

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively assigned by a refreshingly forward thinking, modern service provider based in the Pool area. The company seek to recruit a very experienced Assistant Accountant, initially for a period of 6 months but with some potential to extend (and possibly converting to a permanent contract). In its interim form, this employer is prepared to offer a very generous completion bonus potentially amounting to one full month of additional remuneration following contract end! 

The role will report to and work closely with an experienced Director of Finance who possesses an extremely team focussed attitude. The role would be equally suited to a part/recently professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or a candidate that can demonstrate excellent time served experience. This is a role with a lot of breadth and suitable candidates should possess a well-rounded knowledge of efficiently run accounting procedures to include management reporting, complex reconciliations, and adding significant value to year-end exercises.    

In addition to great all-round technical experience, our remit is to source a self-sufficient individual with great initiative; this is a role that works both independently and as part of a reasonably large finance team. We’re looking for an outgoing accountant with the ability to spot, raise, and rectify errors as well as commentate on systems procedures and potential improvements. You’ll need exceptional IT/Excel experience and a good aptitude for picking up new systems and platforms. 

The role can be based remotely or from the business’s offices in its initial phase with an anticipated split between home & office as restrictions lift.
