Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively assigned by a well-established and innovative services business with big plans for the future. They currently seek to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their experienced UK finance team and the successful candidate will gain valuable experience working with a multi-site, globally trading business with ambitious future goals. The opportunity is perfectly suited to a driven individual with a great head for the numbers as well as management reporting. Key duties to include: 

- Support the European Finance Manager with month end procedures, ensuring accurate account reconciliations and insightful management accounts

- Production of monthly and ad-hoc financial statements

- Assist with European billings and payables

- Assist with UK, European and US audits

- Streamline processes and implement new initiatives

We’re looking for a talented, possibly part qualified, individual for this role, possessing at least 2-3 years of well-rounded finance experience gained within either a small or large organisation. The company works as a paperless office and as such have implemented modern computerised accounting controls so in addition to strong MS Office exposure (particularly Excel), we’re looking for a candidate with the attribute to get to grips with multiple financial systems.  This is a fast-paced environment where the successful candidate will need to multi task, as well as liaise with colleagues and stakeholders globally (particularly US based). A willingness to travel to other UK sites also desirable.
