Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant - Nr Falmouth - £18-20,000

Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a highly reputable specialist construction business with a strong history of creating beautifully crafted products and supplying customers throughout the UK and Europe. They are a growing business and this expansion has created a requirement for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. The business has its headquarters based just outside of Falmouth where own transport will be essential. This is a full time, permanent position that will initially work on a flexible remote working basis, with occasional socially distanced work from their modern offices.

This is a varied role that works closely with a small but highly experienced finance team and takes a lead responsibility for a good proportion of the transactional financial controls to include accounts payable & receivable, invoice coding and inputting, weekly payroll, bank reconciliations, and assisting the Finance Director.  

We’re not fazed by status of qualification for this role, but at least 12 months of recently gained experience in a similar role will be essential. The finance function utilises a bespoke ERP and whilst full training will be given, a good level of IT aptitude and strong experience of MS Excel will be required. The role works with a friendly and busy team so excellent communication and interpersonal skills also essential!
