Sales Ledger Clerk - Barnstaple - £20-25,000
Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a very well established and highly successful Devonshire manufacturing business with customers throughout the UK and Europe. They currently seek to recruit an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to assist in the smooth running of their busy finance team. This is a pivotal position within the team and the successful candidate will ensure the timely administration and processing of a high number of financial transactions. This is a full time, permanent position.
The successful candidate will take a lead role in ensuring efficient and accurate production of purchase, sales and transportation documentation using a bespoke ERP system. This is a well-rounded position where the post-holder will be instrumental in assisting in all areas of finance: sales & purchase ledger, credit control documentation, reconciliations and setting up/maintaining customer records.
We’re looking for a candidate with strong experience gained in accounts payable and with particular attention to accuracy and timely creation and processing of invoices and purchase orders. This is a particularly busy function within the business where no two days are likely to be the same, so a sound understanding of the manufacturing/distribution lifecycle would be highly advantageous. Whilst a part/full AAT qualification would be advantageous, on this occasion we are more focussed on experience in a similar role.
