Management Accountant - Newton Abbot (initially based remotely) - £30-35,000

A very fast paced and rapidly evolving education provider, the role forms part of a team of 13 (and growing), with finance playing an important function across the business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, who in turn reports to the Director of Finance & Operations, this is a pivotal role that takes fundamental responsibility in the compilation of management accounts, budgets, commercial analysis, external reporting and successful project planning. It’s a varied role that will see the successful candidate working closely across a number of functions within the business: Finance, IT, Facilities, Procurement and Marketing. It’s an exciting opportunity, particularly as the business is poised for immediate development and continued growth. 

We’re looking for an experienced accountant who possesses genuine drive and a desire to succeed. Ideally a part or recently qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with a good understanding of management accounting within medium - large organisations, applicants should possess sound all round finance exposure with an excellent grasp of modern and traditional accounting technology. The role will initially be home based whilst the businesses brand new Newton Abbot based headquarters are completed, the role will also require a degree of travel across business sites throughout the southwest.
