Bureau Payroll Manager - Plymouth - £ Neg DOE

***Please note that this opportunity is open to both Payroll Managers with experienced gain in either a practice or commercial environment. ***

We recognise that good Payroll Manager’s don’t grow on trees. We also recognise that neither do great payroll opportunities. We think this is one of them.

We’re working with a long-standing client, a highly successful and well-established firm of Chartered Accountants with offices modern throughout West Devon. They’re a friendly, forward thinking team with a low staff turnover and an exceptional employee development program. The payroll function of their firm has grown to the point that they now seek to recruit an experienced manager to head up the division.

This is a pivotal role where the successful candidate will oversee effective payroll administration for almost 100 clients. With payrolls ranging from 1-100 employees and several director-only schemes in place, this will be a busy role where you’ll be supported by a small but experience team. We’re looking for a candidate with current exposure and up to date knowledge of payroll legislation. A strong working knowledge of Covid-19 government initiatives, CIS, auto enrolment and general HMRC protocols essential.

Salary will be negotiable dependent on experience but highly competitive, as will additional benefits. For further details and to apply, please contact Rob Emsley quoting reference RE6956.
