Interim Management Accountant - 12 month contract – Newquay/ Hybrid working - £35k - £40k

The firm that has assigned Trial Balance to this vacancy is a genuine leader in its’ field and has a very well-deserved reputation for employee well-being and satisfaction. Due to an upcoming period of maternity leave, they are now looking to recruit an interim Management Accountant to join their high calibre finance team for a period of up to 12 months. Reporting in to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant is responsible for the preparation of the monthly and annual management accounts pack, along with providing analysis and commentary to explain the numbers. You will also work closely with budget holders across the business to provide the analysis to assist them with making sound financial decisions. You will be responsible for the month end reconciliation process and journal preparation, along with managing customer rebates and the promotional funding process.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills, an ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment, strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. It’s likely that the successful candidate will be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified or part qualified, with a proven track record working in a similar function and excellent data analysis skills.
