Finance Assistant - Chard - Permanent - £23k-£25k
Trial Balance Consulting have been re-engaged by a long-standing client; a professional services company based in Chard with multiple sites across the Somerset area, to assist with their recruitment of a Finance Assistant.
The role is available on a full or part-time basis and forms part of a busy accounting function, reporting directly to the Finance and Administration Manager. This is an interesting and varied position with duties that will include:
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- VAT returns quarterly
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control
- Purchase and Sales ledger
- Supporting the wider finance and administration team
The ideal candidate will have two years of accounting experience and a good working knowledge of SAGE Accounts. If you are someone who likes to bury themselves in invoices and spreadsheets without speaking to another soul, this role is probably not going to be for you. My client is looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who is comfortable working with other members of their team as well as frequently liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
