Interim Accounts Assistant - St. Austell - £22,000 FTE

Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by a high-profile hospitality services business who have an urgent requirement for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a full time, interim basis. This is a maternity cover contract with a duration between 9-12 months, and will be based at the company’s offices near St. Austell (free parking available for all staff). 

This a is a broad role that covers many areas of the transactional finance function with responsibilities to include: 

- Maintenance of the accounts payable and receivable function. Producing and sending invoices, paying suppliers and producing statements of account

- Processing accounts receivable invoices and receipts

- Bank reconciliations

- Posting banking reports

- Assisting with month end procedures

For this role we’re looking for an experienced ‘allrounder’ who can hit the ground running and with good general transactional accounting knowledge. The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified AAT but suitable QBEs are also welcome to apply. The role will require excellent administration skills with strong IT aptitude, ideally (though not essentially) with Sage based experience. The role works as part of a small and friendly team.
