Company Bookkeeper - Highbridge - £25000 - £30000

Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a long-established Somerset based SME who offer a range of leisure and commercial services to customers throughout the Southwest. They’re a highly successful company with a number of income streams and exciting projections for the future. They now seek a Company Bookkeeper to assist them in developing their business accounting.

This is an important role within the business and will work closely with the Office Manager, the Managing Director as well as several other members of the senior management team, so strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate financial information to team members in other areas is essential. The successful candidate will take lead responsibility for the general bookkeeping and accounting procedures to include maintenance of company ledgers, bank reconciliations, VAT and Tax reporting, monthly payroll, credit control, analysing data and maintaining daily cash flow as we well as producing regular management accounting overviews. 

We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper, ideally possessing 5+ years of similar exposure within an owner managed business. Candidates will ideally, though not essentially, hold a full AAT qualification although those that are QBE with relevant experience will also be considered. The company utilises SAGE Line 50 and MS Excel so good experience in those packages also essential. It’s a busy and fast paced environment but working with an extremely passionate and close-knit team.
