Temporary Part Time Accounts Assistant (Urgent!) - Truro - £20-24,000 FTE

Trial Balance Consulting have been reassigned by our long-standing client, a well-known not for profit organisation based in Truro. They are currently restructuring their finance departments and urgently require the assistant of an Accounts Assistant to join them ASAP. The role is part time, two days per week and will initially be offered on a temporary contract likely to be 3 months+ in duration. 

The role will closely with the Finance Manager and CEO, and cover many aspects of the transactional accounting activity of the organisation including: 

- Purchase ledger and invoicing

- Accounts receivable administration

- Journal entries

- Bank reconciliations

- Staff expense claims

- Petty cash administration

- Assisting with financial projects and month end reporting

We’re looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running using Sage based systems, either part/fully AAT or QBE. A good understanding and experience of accurate data processing essential, as well as the ability to confidently communicate with suppliers and customers where required.
