Finance Analyst - Plymouth / Remote - Circa: £35,000

A lot of employers have a warped perception when it comes to recruitment. They assume that people are going to beat down the door to come and work for them. They assume that it’s ok to insist that a prospective employee is happy to fulfil a bulleted list of demands because they’re offering an acceptable level of remuneration. And worst of all, they assume that if they have a job to offer, they’re in control. That’s not how we see things, that’s not how most candidates see things, and fortunately that’s not how this client sees things. And that’s why their reputation as a sizable Plymouth based employer that retain their staff is exceptional, why their employee turnover is minimal, and why their employees actually enjoy coming to work.

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been engaged once again by this long-standing services business who seek to welcome an experienced Finance Analyst to join their friendly, experienced, and expertly efficient finance function. It’s a broad, interesting, and important role within the business that works closely with the senior finance team to ensure the continued effectiveness of the department.

The opportunity is a little different from a run-of-the-mill analyst role and the successful candidate can enjoy a range of responsibilities to include management accounting, staff supervision and development, revenue accounting, analysis to generate insights, liaison with external auditors, and contributing to a number of strategic financial projects.

Are you the person that this employer is looking for? We’re seeking a professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with good all-round finance experience in financial analysis, management reporting and developing/implementing streamlining processes. Strong IT skills are essential and some supervisory experience would be advantageous, although strong communication and delegation skills might make up for any shortfalls there.

In return, the business offers a great salary, an exceptional employee benefits package and a real opportunity to develop a long term, rewarding career with a business that has never failed to grow year on year. The business offers genuine flexibility where blended working is concerned, with up to three days per week of remote working available to the successful candidate if they would like.

For further details and to apply, please contact Elle Benjamin quoting reference EB7684 ASAP. Our client is keen to appoint without delay so shortlisted candidates can expect a fast turnaround.
