Interim Accounts Assistant - Okehampton - £20-25,000 FTE
Trial Balance Consulting have been reengaged by an existing client, a highly successful services business with private and commercial clients located across the southwest. They currently seek to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant. This is a full time, maternity cover contract with a duration between 9-12 months, and will be based at the company’s Okehampton based offices (free parking available for all staff).
This a is a broad role that covers many areas of the transactional finance function with responsibilities to include:
- Maintenance of the accounts payable and receivable function. Producing and sending invoices, paying suppliers and producing statements of account
- Assistance with Credit Control
- Administration of expenses and company credit cards
- General administrative duties and additional finance duties as required
For this role we’re looking for an experienced ‘allrounder’ who can hit the ground running and with good general transactional accounting knowledge. The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified AAT but suitable QBEs are also welcome to apply. The role will require excellent administration skills with strong IT aptitude, ideally (though not essentially) with Sage based experience. The role works as part of a small and friendly team.
