Management Accountant - East Cornwall / Remote - Up to £40,000

They’ve tasked us with sourcing an exceptional Management Accountant to join their growing finance function. The role will work very closely to support their Financial Controller (also placed by Trial Balance Consulting), with the key responsibility being to provide accurate management accounts, reports and deliver easy to digest commentary. The successful contractor will play a key part in the ongoing success of the finance function.  Whilst it’s an analytical opportunity, it’s also one that works closely with colleagues throughout the business and has a highly commercial nature to it.   

Who’s right for the challenge? Probably, though not essentially, a professionally qualified Management Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), but most certainly somebody with at least 2-3 years’ previous experience in a similar role and with a good understanding of the challenges and fast paced environment of a rapid growth business.  You’ll need strong knowledge in end-to-end accounting policy and very strong IT skills. It’s going to be a challenging, but extremely rewarding opportunity where the successful candidate will be an essential point of contact for all queries and support assistance. The role will be primarily based in the company’s east Cornwall HQ but may involve a small amount of SW based travel. There is strong potential to blend the office based work with some remote working to suit the successful candidate.
