Interim Finance Manager - Central Bristol - £50-80,000
Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively assigned to assist a high performing engineering business based in central Bristol and with a network of global offices. They currently seek to recruit a highly experienced Finance Manager to assist them during a particularly busy time. The assignment will initially run for a fixed term of six months but there is strong potential for extension or a possible permanent contract. This is an urgent requirement where strong preference will be given to candidates who are available to commence at short notice, initially remotely and then returning to their UK headquarters in July/August ’21.
This is a broad and diverse role that will call for an experienced individual who is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck into the day-to-day. The role responsibilities will cover all areas of a modern finance function:
- Management accounting and reporting
- Statutory financial preparation and reporting
- Assisting with year-end audit preparation
- Managing the day-to-day function to include accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, VAT reporting, debtor management, payroll administration and journal entries
We’re looking for a highly experienced individual, ideally professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), but open to strong QBEs also. Knowledge of IFRS would be desirable but not essential. An excellent working knowledge of Sage based accounting platforms and solid experience in the use of MS Excel essential. This is a fast paced, busy team that will supervise a small finance function and liaise regularly with colleagues in the UK and abroad.
