Accounts Assistant - - North Plymouth - In excess of: £20,000

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been assigned by a long established and highly successful services business based in the Yelverton area of North Plymouth. They business currently seeks to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator to join them on a permanent, full time basis. The role will principally be based from the company’s HQ but with some opportunity for blended home working in the future. 

Reporting to an experienced Finance Director, the role works as part of a friendly, efficient and customer-centric accounting function. We’re seeking an experienced candidate with a good understanding of most areas of transactional finance. Key responsibilities to include: 

- Daily bank reconciliations

- Allocation of supplier payments

- Accounts payable/receivable

- Direct debit administration

- Accruals and prepayments

- Take and make online and telephone-based payments

The role would be well suited to a part or fully AAT qualified individual although applicant’s that can demonstrate suitable career experience will also be welcome to apply. The business has a busy, friendly, and organised function where great interpersonal skills and accurate use of the company’s IT systems will be essential criteria.
