Urgent! Part Time Finance Assisstant (temp-perm) - Ivybridge - £10-11 per hour      

Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a long-established engineering SME who urgently seek to recruit a part time Finance Assistant. The role is initially offered on an immediate start, temporary basis but is highly likely to develop into a permanent contract. The role works over three days per week with Monday being essential and the remaining two to suit the successful candidate. 

This is a broad role within a small finance team and will work closely with the Finance Manager. We’re looking for an experienced candidate with experience in the following areas: 

- Control of accounts payable to include supplier queries and accurate inputting of invoices

- Processing accounts receivable invoices and receipts

- Bank reconciliations

- Credit Control

- EC sales and VAT on import/exports

- Assisting with month end procedures

We’re focussed on experience, not status of qualification though part/fully AAT would be useful. We’re interested in sourcing a candidate with particularly strong accuracy in processing sales and supplier invoices, ideally using Sage Line 50 and MS Office applications. The role works within a very friendly and efficient finance team where an outgoing and personable approach will be a must!
