A truly unique and outstanding opportunity has arisen on the Isles of Scilly for an Assistant Accountant to join this unique organisation on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager, the main purpose of the role will be to support the Accounts Manager in all areas of accounts to ensure the smooth running of the finance team.

Duties of the Assistant Accountant could include: collating weekly payroll, processing of ledgers, credit control, balance sheet recs, accounts to Trial Balance, fixed asset reporting and assisting with management accounts.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally be a minimum AAT Qualified but work can be arranged for a CIMA or ACCA qual if necessary! You should have excellent IT skills (Including Excel and ideally Opera) and be capable of prioritising your own workload
