Interim Accounts Assistant (12 month FTC) - Cullompton / Remote - Circa: £25,000
Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively assigned by an interesting an innovative global services business who seek to recruit an interim Accounts Assistant to assist during a period of maternity leave, duration likely to be no less than 12 months. The role is full time and will be operated on a primarily remote basis, however it is ESSENTIAL that the successful candidate resides within commutable distance of Cullompton.
This a is a broad role that covers many areas of the transactional finance function with responsibilities to include:
- Maintenance of the accounts payable and receivable function. Producing and sending invoices, paying suppliers and producing statements of account
- Processing accounts receivable invoices and receipts
- Bank reconciliations
- Posting banking reports
- Assisting with month end procedures
For this role we’re looking for an experienced ‘allrounder’ who can hit the ground running and with good general transactional accounting knowledge. The successful candidate will ideally be part/fully qualified AAT but suitable QBEs are also welcome to apply. The role will require excellent administration skills with strong IT aptitude, ideally (though not essentially) with Sage based experience. The role works as part of a small and friendly team.
