Assistant Management Accountant - Truro / Remote - Circa: £25,000

Trial Balance Consulting have been reengaged by our long-standing client, a high regarded engineering services business based in Truro. The business has experienced phenomenal growth over the past 12 months (this is our third finance orientated assignment for 2021), and this is a newly created opportunity within the function. This a permanent, full time position that can be operated with a combination of home and office-based working. 

This is a broad, interesting and challenging opportunity where the successful candidate will work to collate both analytical and management information to paint a detailed, yet transparent picture of the company’s true financial performance. Key responsibilities to include: 

- Work with the senior finance team to prepare and produce monthly management accounts

- Project analysis and costing

- Bank reconciliations

- Assist with all month end procedures to tight deadlines

- Assisting budgeting and business planning

- Maintenance of aged debtor 

- Assist in preparing for annual audit
