Junior Finance Analyst - Exeter - £19,000 - £23,000

Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by one of our longest standing clients, a highly successful professional services organisation offering high quality client services to an international portfolio. They have created a brand-new role for a Junior Finance Analyst and the successful candidate will play role in supporting senior accounting staff in the operation of the function. The role will be predominantly performed remotely with 3-4 days per week working from home and 1-2 days based in the company’s central Exeter based offices. 

This is an analytical, date focussed role where the successful candidate will engage in the following responsibilities: 

- Reporting and analysis

- Corporate action processing

- Maintenance of accounting system data

- Transactional processing

- Online banking systems maintenance

- Low level systems maintenance and support

For this role we’re seeking an entry level, analytically focussed individual, ideally with at least 6 months experience gained within an accounting function or a financial services environment. Strong maths & English GCSE grades are essential and commencement towards AAT would be desirable (though not a pre-requisite). The company has a modern approach to technology and excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word are requisite. This is a business with a longstanding history for employee development and progression and the suitable candidate must possess a desire to advance their career.
