Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been assigned by a new client, a long-established commercial goods manufacturing business based in Penryn. The company has been trading for more than four decades and is considered to be at the forefront in their sector, with jobs and sales largely unaffected by the pandemic.
They currently seek to recruit an Accounts Administrator to join their small but highly experienced finance team of three. This is a very broad and varied role that would be ideally suited to an experienced Accounts Assistant who would relish the opportunity to learn new skills and play a key role in monthly management reporting. Key responsibilities to include:
- Day-to-day accounts administration to include bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, order reporting and assisting the finance team with audit preparation
- Assisting with management accounting and reporting
- VAT reporting
- Margin analysis
- Stock valuations
- Assisting the finance team with ad hoc projects or holiday cover as and when required
We seeking a candidate with a minimum of two years of experience gained within a similar role, either part/fully AAT or qualified by experience. The company will provide training in the use of their Sage based accounting platform but good IT aptitude and a good level of MS Excel competence essential. The role will work closely with finance colleagues as well as other department heads and external stakeholders so excellent communication skills essential!
