Finance & Payroll Assistant - Nr Newquay - To: £20-22,000

Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively engaged to assist an innovative hospitality business who have experienced phenomenal growth and look set to have a very busy year ahead of them. The company is based on the beautifully rugged north Cornwall coast and offers an exceptional working environment (own transport definitely required!). They currently seek to recruit an experienced Finance & Payroll Assistant who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of many areas of the accounting function. 

Role responsibilities of this broad opportunity to include: 

- Administering day-to-day accounting transactions

- Assist with accounts payable and receivable

- Bank reconciliations

- Monitoring of aged debtor

- Assist the payroll department with processing weekly and monthly

- Input and maintenance of Sage based accounting platform 

We’re seeking a candidate with a minimum of 18 month’s recently gained finance exposure, ideally spanning the full function. Candidates can be either part/fully AAT qualified or qualified by experience and should possess good IT aptitude (ideally Sage based). The role works within a busy, friendly and fast based department where excellent communication skills will be a must!
