Accounts Assistant - Wadebridge - £18-22,000

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively reassigned by our past client, a stylish, forward thinking, and very fast-growing services business based on the outskirts of Wadebridge.   

Unlike similar opportunities that consistently work to serve other team members, our client has already earmarked a specific area of the accounting function for the successful Accounts Assistant to head up. This means that the post holder will quickly gain central knowledge in this area of the business and work with colleagues across all departments of the business. Key responsibilities to include: 

- Processing supplier payments

- Liaise with sales staff on customer payments

- Bank reconciliations

- Creation of customer statements and expense reports

- Support sales invoice procedures

- Assisting with customer queries

Person fit is almost as important as experience. We welcome applicants with part or full AAT but are equally open to candidates that simply possess suitable experience. The company may be in a position to support AAT study for those that want it. Good all-round IT experience, ideally with Sage Line 50 and MS Office would be desirable but not essential. We are looking for a true team player and a good communicator that will be happy to liaise with customers.
