Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively reassigned by our long-standing client, a fast expanding technology services business based in Exeter. They urgently seek to recruit an Assistant Accountant who can commence with the business as soon as possible on a full-time basis for a fixed term contract of 12 months. 

This is a varied role that will closely with all members of the finance function and assist in the production of financial reports to ensure accurate monthly management accounting. This will entail a detailed assessment of P&L reports, balance sheets and accurate analysis of the company’s cash flow position. The Assistant Accountant will also assist with accounts payable/receivable, credit control, reconciliations, and general financial analysis. It’s a position with a wide breadth of specialism and the successful candidate will often assist with other ad-hoc duties to ensure that projects run to deadlines. 

We seek an experienced Assistant Accountant with at least two years of recently gained experience operating at similar level, either part/full AAT qualified or QBE. Excellent IT skills are required, particularly in the use of MS Excel (charts and advanced formulas). The company has a very friendly, motivated and fast paced finance function and the ability to communicate with colleagues in this department as well as non-finance will be essential.
