Project Accountant - Exeter - Circa: £35,000
Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a technology business that are absolutely at the top of their game and that’s easily demonstrated by their formidable growth. There aren’t many businesses that can boast that in the South West and particularly in this climate. The business is professionally run by a senior management team that base everything they do on impeccable customer service. And they’re a great company to recruit for too; open minded, efficient and decisive which means that their vacancies are filled promptly and without unnecessary processes.
They’ve tasked us with helping source a full time, permanent Project Accountant. This is a pivotal role that will report into the FC but works very closely with all on the senior management team. The whole concept of this business is project based and the successful candidate will work with Project Managers to ensure commercially viable cashflow planning, risk management and project cost reforecasting. As our client has articulately put it ’The Project Accountant acts as a custodian of the value and integrity of project results’.
We’ve been passed a detailed role specification and we’d love to share this with technically experienced and well-suited candidates who possess exception project accounting expertise. We can also provide a comprehensive business presentation which perfectly sets out the business, its product, its international relationships and the team behind the launch.
What we’re after:
- A qualified individual ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- At least three years of experience gained in a similar role
- A relevant background in project costings, ideally, though not essentially, gained within the services sector
- Excellent IT/ERP (ideally MNS Dynamics) skills with an aptitude to pick up new systems quickly
- Total tenacity in working under pressure and to tight deadlines
The rewards here are big as you might expect with a high profile, fast growth business. Most of our placed candidates have enjoyed rapid and continued career development and the business rightly understand that its future is entirely attributed to its people.
