Finance Assistant - Full time - Permanent - £25k-£28k - Newquay

We’re now looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Finance Assistant to join the finance team. This is a varied, hands-on position offering the opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of day-to-day finance duties and support the smooth running of the accounts function.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing routine finance queries and preparing weekly reports

- Processing daily banking and supplier invoices

- Preparing weekly and monthly payroll (including pension submissions)

- Reconciling supplier statements and preparing bank payments

- Inputting tips and credit card transactions into accounting systems

- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting general bookkeeping tasks

The ideal candidate will be either studying their AAT or qualified, with previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role. Strong IT skills, excellent communication, and an organised, proactive approach are essential.
