Accounts, Tax and client Bookkeeping Semi Senior - Chippenham - £20-25,000
Not all accountancy practices were created equal. But you’d be forgiven if your experiences had led you to believe that grey suits and monotonous work were all that a career in practice could offer.
Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a new breed of accountancy practice. One that’s working hard to shake off stereotypes of the past and create a workplace with a modern, forward thinking and fun methodology. It’s working well for them, their clients, and of course their staff. That’s why they’ve not lost a staff member in almost three years and why they never recruit above their existing employees. This is a culture where promotion comes from within and CPD and career development is what drives the firm to grow.
We’ve been tasked with sourcing a new member to join their team; a candidate with experience in accounts preparation, tax and client bookkeeping. Not a common combination but this firm believes that their staff should involve themselves in as many different areas of practice accounting as possible. There is no pigeon holing and that means that their staff can be confident in answering client queries in all areas without having to defer across colleagues.
We’re looking for a candidate with no less than 12 months of practice based experience, part qualified AAT ideally, but most importantly with a positive attitude to genuinely adding value to their clients businesses. This is a people focussed firm where the ability to articulate technical information to clients across a multitude of sectors is essential. You’ll need good bookkeeping experience using multiple accounting packages; Sage, Quickbooks and Xero. You’ll understand the processes required to prepare accurate VAT returns, production of accounts, corporate tax computations and possess the ability to develop client relationships.
It’s an exciting opportunity with an exciting firm, with above average benefits; better pay, 31 days holiday allowance from day one, and a better working environment. For further details and to apply, please contact Alex Callister quoting reference AC6760.
