Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by our long-standing client, an international manufacturer with sites located across Europe and North America.
They currently seek an experienced Finance Assistant to join them on a permanent, part time basis performing for approx. 30 hours per week. At present, there is a little uncertainty over how these working hours will be allocated, but it is highly likely that the successful candidate will divide those hours over a 5-day working week. If a prospective candidate feels that they have the required experience to perform in the role, but would require flexibility in hours worked, they are encouraged to apply.
This is a well-rounded position entailing all elements of purchase & sales ledger, bank reconciliation and general accounting duties that support a large finance team. SAP experience is an essential requirement and understanding the processes of an internationally operating business is desirable: Foreign currency, US GAAP, Sox etc. would all be useful.
At the time of posting (20/04/2020), most of our clients’ finance team are operating from home and telephone/video interviewing will be encouraged in the first instance. Our client respects social distancing and has appropriate on-site facilities to ensure adherence to this.
