We’ve seen enough CVs to write a book on the subject. Over the years we’ve learned exactly what does and doesn’t work and what you should and shouldn’t include.
"Over the years we’ve learned exactly what does and doesn’t work and what you should and shouldn’t include."
99% of recruiters will take the CV that you originally send them and cut & paste it into their own format, making it appear similar to all of their other candidates. Trial Balance take a different approach and have chosen not to format candidate CVs in any way (apart from to remove contact information).
This means that what you see when you have finished authoring your CV is exactly what the client will see when we send it to them. We believe that this is the most effective approach, as a candidate’s expressive style and personality can often be reflected in the way that they choose to write their own CV – and there is no reason why we would want to prevent that.
